To Every One of You
I’m sitting here trying to figure out how to be eloquent and elaborate as to the events that have unfolded before me since my last blog, but I can’t even begin to think of how to put it into words. I have been given a large slice of humble pie, and been reminded how insignificant we are in the scheme of things in this life. Don’t you ever, even for one second, think that you can get through this life without God. We found out that we are pregnant, and we were so happy! Then Angela began to bleed, and we were concerned, but not alarmed…until she didn’t stop, and began passing very large clots. We were terrified. Since then, we have been to the E.R. twice, had two ultrasounds, and been told that there isn’t anything that modern science/medicine could do. Whatever will happen will happen. They said there weren’t any studies to show that bedrest would do anything significant, but everyone suggested that we do it anyway. And it helps, the more Angela stays off her feet, the better she feels, and the less blood we see.
The only thing that brought any comfort into our lives and home at that moment, was a priesthood blessing from our hometeacher and Angela’s brother. I had administered to Angela, but I was concerned that my will and not the Lord’s were spoken, but to hear the inspired words spoken through our brother Andrew, I finally had peace in my heart concerning Angela and our unborn baby. I am grateful for the worthy men my brother and hometeacher are.
Since that blessing, Angela, Jaxon and I have been doing so well. The bleeding has all but stopped for Angela, and she is only passing very small dark clots (which we were told would happen, and is good). Jaxon has been happy and cute as ever…and has been easier for Dad (Kitch) to take care of; and my sweet mother (Gale) came to spend a week with us and help us around the house and with Jaxon. It was the sweetest, most precious, most enduring, and most memorable Christmas present that I have ever received from my parents. My father insisted on my mom coming to help us, even after acknowledging that it would be over their anniversary. He even had to sacrifice good food while Mom was gone. But he did all of that for us, and we were touched! Thanks Dad!
We had a family fast this last Sunday for Angela and her pregnancy, and we know it has had an effect. But we wanted to say how grateful we are to each and every one of you for your prayers and thoughts in her/our behalf. We love you so much, and are so grateful to have you in our family! Family is truly the greatest source of happiness, support, and love in this life. Our Heavenly Father truly knew the way that would be the best for his children. He is aware of his children, and he hears and answers our prayers! There is a plan for each of us, and he is truly the Gardner in our lives.
At this time of year, when we worship, gather, and celebrate; remember that you are in our hearts, and that we love you! Thank you all once again, and Merry Christmas! May the Lord bless and keep you in the new year! All our love, Kitch, Angela, Jaxon, and the baby!

Dear Kitch and Angela,
I am so glad to hear that there is good news. We are all truly in the hands of the Lord, not that he causes us physical ailments or pain, but he is completely aware of us. I know that, he will always be there for you. I have been and will continue to pray for your new baby. All my love.
Becca
Here it is weeks after you entered that letter in your blog and I am only now reading it. Son, I feel the same about needing divine help in this life. I always felt that it was impossible for your dad and I to raise our children by our selves...we needed help, NO, more than that, we depended on, and indeed called upon our Heavenly Father to interceed many times when we just could not make it alone.
I'm humbly grateful that the bleeding has stopped and can only attribute that to God's tender mercies on behalf of this baby.
Son, I was happy to spend the time I was able with your family. It will me a memory I'll always cherish.
Now we have the added bonus of a precious new baby in the family followed shortly by Becca's new baby. What a great year this is going to be!!! We are truly blessed! MOM
