Love to everyone who happens upon this literary snippet into my life!! Trust me, it is welcomed, and love to share the good news!! I hope you all had an incredible and fun Labor Day weekend, and were able to spend a lot of time with those whom you love. Angela and I sure had a good weekend! Angela and I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary!!! Nanna and Poppa Ormsby (Angela’s parent’s) volunteered to watch Jaxon Saturday night; which enabled Angela and I to have a very pleasant evening. We went out to dinner at a Chinese restaurant, had frozen yogurt shakes, then we enjoyed the news that BYU beat Arizona. We didn’t get to sleep in, due in part to Angela’s cousin who had baby blessing in Draper, but it was still a great weekend!
After the blessing, we were so excited to pick Jason up at the airport! He had been in Alaska all summer long, and we were so excited to see him, but we were in for a surprise. In place of our dear brother, Grizzly Adams came out the gate! Jason had a very bushy goatee and hair that was longer than it had been in a very long time…I must say that he pulled off the look very well. Jaxon was a little nervous at first, but Jason knew that if he were patient and loving, it wouldn’t take long for Jaxon to go to him. He was right, it wasn’t even two hours later that Jaxon was just as comfortable in his arms as he was in Daddy’s arms.
Jenny was at the airport too, and we all went out to dinner at Golden Corral in Midvale. It was so great to all be together again, we were still missing Mike, but it was nice to be thinking of him together. We all went to ROSS to get Jason some new clothes; clothes that didn’t smell of Alaska…you know the kind. Then we watched the movie “Wild Hogz,” which was very funny. We was getting late, so we left Jenny’s house, and Jason came with us back to Pleasant Grove, UT to spend the night. Mom and Dad (Paul and Gale Head) came up early Monday afternoon, and we all went out to eat at Bahijo’s, a very fun Mexican restaurant were we were disgusted, and thoroughly entertained, to watch this young woman on a date, shoveling food in her gaping mouth with a fork in each hand!! It was amazing; I had never seen anybody put food away like that! Bravo!! Then everybody came back to our humble house to watch a movie before I had to go to work. I work Grave’s at a local Assisted Living Facility in American Fork, UT.
Jaxon is growing up so fast, and getting into everything! He displays a voracious curiosity that propels him into every knok and cranny. Neither pot nor pan is safe from this boy!
Angela is training for the St. George Marathon in October, and is doing really well. Just this last weekend, she ran 15 miles!!! She still has a ways to go, but is determined, motivated, supported, and driven to succeed! She is training with her father and sister, and is doing so well. We are all very proud of her!
As some might know, I am currently attending a Nursing program in Draper, UT. I love what I am doing, and I couldn’t be more excited about my future career!
We love you all, even those who don’t check the family blogs! Be safe, have fun, love each other, work hard, and play even harder!! Until next time! Love Kitch, Angela and little Jaxon!

Kitch, I LOVED your editorial!!!! It's almost like talking on the phone only better because I can revisit the conversation! Thanks for the head's up about your latest updates here. Life has been so busy that I forget about the blog. I love you all so! MOM
I agree...it was a wonderful read! It is nice to have a place to get the latest and greatest news. My husband works graveyard as well and I know it takes a toll. Hang in there. Kudos to Angela, I haven't ever spent much time running and have figured if it's more than a mile I'll just use the car!! Great job. I forgot your anniversary was Labor Day weekend as well...congrats! We've seen Wild Hogs a few times now and never get tired of it.
Thanks for keeping me up to date!
Kara
